It will go straight to the Download dialog box. In Chrome, when you click a PDF doc, it will not give you an option to OPEN it. It will download and show up in your recent downloads and you can open it by clicking on the notification. If you click SAVE AS it will open a dialog box allowing you to save the file where you want. This way you aren't adding a file to your hard drive that you haven't viewed yet. Or print it and close it and save it or don't. You can view it, work with it, and then if you want to save it, you can. If that is set to Acrobat, it will open in Acrobat. If you choose OPEN, it will download to a temp file and open in whatever your default PDF viewer is under the file type section in Windows Settings.
